Tribute of Patrick Swayze in north carolina town

patrick_swayzeFollowing the death of Patrick Swayze, a free memorial will be held at Firefly Cove, which represented the movie’s Camp Chimney Rock and those who attend are asked to make a contribution toward the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in Patrick Swayze’s name.

Lake Lure, North Carolina displays breathtaking 6,000 foot mountain peaks and will treasure where all the magic happened in the making of  the movie. According to the examiner, it where Swayze played the the role of the talented Johnny Castle and his co-star Jennifer Gray as Baby. It all took place amongst the beauty of this North Carolina town.

In correspondence with E online, it  Swayze battled a fearless 20-months of cancer and in the face of his disease, still pushed on to star in The Beast, co-write his memoirs with his wife Lisa Niemi called The Time of My Life that will be available in stores September 29 involving his career in Hollywood, his conflict with alcohol and his cancer battle.

Also, ABC’s will be honoring the actor, dancer, singer, songwriter, three-time Golden Globe nominee and the 1991 People’s Sexiest Man Alive who guest-starred on the hit show and will air their special tribute on September 23, 2009.

Although there has been no comment of family commemorative services, we all will remember how great of a fight that he battled until the very end.
