Obama e-mails Punditty about Nobel Prize
Somewhere along the way in the strange political drama that was the 2008 presidential campaign, Ole Punditty managed to get himself on the mailing list of the eventual winner, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.
Less than one year into office, President Obama on Friday won the Nobel Peace Prize for “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people. The Committee has attached special importance to Obama’s vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons,” according to the Nobel statement accompanying the announcement of his win.
