Tigela presented the election system prevalent in the world and the election system of Nepal (video)

On 11 Dec 2022, Biswasdip Tigela, a scholar of politics, gave a comparative presentation about the electoral system prevalent in the world and the electoral system of Nepal with statistics.

Tigela made a presentation in an interaction program organized by Mundhum Academy Kathmandu. Among the best and undemocratic electoral systems in the world, he also presented the factual reasons and bases on what needs to be improved in Nepal’s mixed electoral system. Students of political science and politicians participated in the interaction program. At the end of the program, Tigela answered the participants’ questions and noted the suggestions.

Tigela’s thesis on ‘which of the world’s electoral systems is the most democratic’ in his political science degree was discussed and interacted with before it was published as a book. Tigela’s other research paper for his master’s degree, titled “Why China is not replacing America” was published last year, and he has completed his master’s degree in international relations at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK and is in the process of PhD.
